Aslamu Alikum,
I have heard a lot about of lowering the gaze when it comes to men seeing non-mahram women, but they also mention that lowering the gaze applies to women as well. What does lowering the gaze consist of for women?

It is unlawful to look at what is Haram ( Unlawful / Forbidden ).
The general Concept is the way we look, talk, our tone , gestures and our posture can’t be a source of revealing our intention to or invitation to commit Haram. ( Unlawful / Prohibited ).
