He explicitly agreed, saying I would be his only wife and that the contract would dissolve only either when the time expires or if we decide to transition into permanent marriage. According to Ayatollah Saeed Al-Hakeem, he cannot marry anyone else, whether permanently or temporarily, during this period. He’s also bound by these conditions, and abandoning the contract without transitioning to agreed conditions if the time period has not expired yet is invalid.
