Salamun alaykum,
As part of diabetes management there is an equipment Continous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) which is used to monitor the glucose levels. Instead of pricking needles to get blood sample this equipment has a small sensor placed on the back of the upper arm or on the belly by which glucose levels is continously measured. The sensor is held in place by an adhesive patch. This sensor remains in place on the arm for a period such as 2 weeks. The adhesive used on Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) device sensors is generally designed to be water-resistant, not entirely waterproof. This means it can withstand exposure to water during activities like Showering, Bathing, Sweating, Swimming.
Can the ghusl of a person attached with the CGM be considered to be complete and sahih? Kindly advise. Shukran.

To the best of our knowledge, water does not reach the skin beneath the adhesive patch. In such cases, ghusl would not be considered valid unless the patch is medically necessary and cannot be avoided.
