Hello, I’m writing a paper about the death penalty and right now I’m at the part for religious views and how it’s justified by sharia law. My question is about the story of sharia and why the death penalty is encouraged for certain crimes. I support the death penalty, but I want to know why it’s also supported by sharia and what was the story behind that decision if that makes sense.
