Asalam Aleykum,
InshAllah you are in good health. I did not fast in ramadan because of fear of the baby and because it was unbearable for me. How much kaffarra should I pay? Also if I am doing qadha fasts how many days should I fast? 30 days consecutively? or 60 days consecutively?
Please kindly help.

Salamun Alaikum! Hope you are doing well. We are sorry for replying you late.
If there is a serious health reason not to fast you have to Qadha before next Ramadan. If the serious illness continues till next Ramadan then you have to pay Fidya which is an amount equal to three quarters of kilogram (3/4) of wheat/rice for each single day missed fasting. This amount should be given to the deserving poor momin/momineen. Or you can send to Imam al-Khoie Islamic Center.
