Please guide if it is ok to buy property after Soyem e Imam Hussain (a.s).

From the Jurisprudence perspective: It is Mubah ( Optional / At your Discretion).

Taqlid is only in Fiqh/ Jurisprudence / Law. The Islamic Scholars divide Islamic Instructions in three parts, 1) Fundamental of Faith (Aqidah ) 2) Islamic Ethics/Morals 3) Islamic Law. If something is Mubah ( Optional) from the law perspective, you would take other instructions / personal / situation specific factors into consideration.

Since the question is in the context of Muharram. The Calamities and Tragedies which befall the captives  after the Ashura, from Karbala to Kufa(Iraq) to Damascus ( Syria ).  What Shia’s abstain from during the period of mourning, is not a Fiqh / Jurisprudence matter,  the matter is between them and Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra (sa).
