Peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of Allah.
If you don’t mind, I have a question:
After taking a shower, when I sit on a faux leather chair, I notice a wet spot appearing on its surface. Does this moisture count as musriah (transferable impurity)?
Also, when I sit on a fabric couch, the fabric absorbs the moisture, and no visible spot appears (scientifically, fabric absorbs water). In this case, is the moisture also considered musriah, or is it not regarded as transferable since the outer surface appears dry?
May Allah reward you with goodness.

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
We hope this answer finds you in high Islamic spirit.
If it is only moisture, it is not regarded as musriah. However, we advise avoiding sitting on real leather when there is moisture. Sitting on artificial (faux) leather has no issue, since it is man-made.
