salam,
Its very common in Pakistani culture family do not celebrate 1st eid, what is right fiq answer for mourning days. Also some family members saying don\\\\\\\’t cook sweet dishes since in Pakistani culture its consider happiness event. Please guild and help. What we should so.

If there is a substantial fear of dispute then it is better to follow the permissible things of local culture to avoid any disputes and divisions among momineen. Cultural expression of happiness and mourning is different in different cultures and countries; Islamic Law does not have any specific restrictions or recommendations about the mubahat/the permissible things in this regard
