I have money of Khums and i want to spend its part of Imam on Masjid in my hometown, is it allowed? I live in rawalpindi (Pakistan) and there are enough funds here for khums and sadqah for islamic sites and works, so i wanted to ask you if its allowed or not. Someone told me that Its allowed but i have to take permission.

If the management of the Imam bargah or Masjid has permission from the Marj’a A’la, then it is allowed to give the haq al-Imam to them.
