My wife wants divorce. I did everything in order  to  save our marriage. I am still wiling to try and I talked to a scholar ( Hussain Makki) from Colorada. He said that this marriage is workable and there is no need for divorce. As a husband and wife we need counseling. She refused that and wants divorce.

The reason I am asking you this question is that she told me on number of times that she talked to Sahlani and you ( Sahlani) told her that in case of Khula, I have to give her money and divorce.

Whereas, I have asked number of other scholars ( both shai and sunni) and they told me that if the wife wants the divorce. She should pay something to the husband. Most of case forgive her Mahr.

Can you please elaborate on this issue.
