This Ilm or Knowledge/ subject is not part of Fiqh / Jurisprudence. Jurists specialize in Law / Fiqh / Jurisprudence. Taqlid in only allowed in Fiqh / Jurisprudence matters  (except in those matters which are considered by all to be indisputable).

There are other specialists in field/subjects like Theology, Hadith, Study of narrators,  History, Quran Tafsir and other knowledge.

General comment not specific to the Subject at hand. If there is special knowledge which is not commonly studied, it may be approached by a Specialist / Scholar. Like you have to get your Masters or even P.hd in any field and after that you may look into very specialize knowledge.
