Salam alykum
I got a question
there’s a girl she’s from the United States she got divorced (khulee) and court divorce over the phone
The husband was in Iraq and the witnesses where there along with the shaykh and the lawyer
After 10 months he called her and told her the divorce is invalid becuase it was over the phone
and without her knowing her ex-husband remarried her in court after 10 months of the divorce
In a situation like this is she considered divorce ?

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

We hope this answer reaches you in good health and Islamic spirit.

Based on your specific question and information provided.

We need to hear from both of you to ascertain the exact context and details of the situation.

For general information: A khulʿ or mubārāt divorce ( if properly executed ),  is an irrevocable divorce is one in which the husband does not have the right to return to his wife after the divorce, meaning that he cannot remarry her without a new marriage contract.
