Salam,
I follow Sistani’s rulings while my father follows Al-Khoei’s rulings. Sistani permits his followers to have cats in their homes. Is it halal for Al-Khoei followers to have cats in their homes?

Having cats is allowed according to Syed Sistani, The only restriction is that the hairs of the cat should not be stuck in the clothes
