As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

The Jurists specialize in Law / Fiqh / Jurisprudence. There are other specialists in the fields of Aqidah ( creed),  Ethics / Morals, Quranic Tafsir, Hadith sciences, Transmitters of Hadith,  History, etc…. The jurists domain is primarily in the field of what you see in the contents of their “Islamic law books”.  They do write books on other Islamic sciences for example Sayyid Al- Khoei has book Al-Bayan fi Tafsir al-Quran, The Prolegomena to the Quran and Biographies of Narrators of Tradition. Other Jurists / Marji have books on Principles of Faith (Usul al-Din) . Since they are learned Scholars you may use them as a reference or in an advisory capacity (No Taqlid) in Aqidah(creed) or other non fiqh fields.  However, they don’t comment on all matters.

We primarily provide answers to the Law / Fiqh / Jurisprudence questions, if the question is a general question and we are aware of the opinion we may provide it or provide basic guidance as to how to obtain an answer. Since even the Jurists / Marji have other books or (may write) on other matters, we can only provide you what we are aware of at this time.

Kindly,  refer to the specialists / experts or their books in the respective field for their view / opinion and you should review few opinions before formulating your own.( as these are not Taqlid matters, you are using them as a resource and in an advisory capacity).
