Can syeds eat aqeeqah meat of non syeds?

From the Fiqh / Jurisprudence perspective it is Mubah ( permissible / Optional) for Hashimi.

Syed in Fiqh / Jurisprudence terminology are the descendants of  Hashim ( Hashimi).

In common religious understanding or Aqeeda / Aqidah. Syed / Sayyid  / Sadat are the direct descendants of Muhammad Al-Mustafa (Peace be upon him and his pure Progeny)  thru Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra (sa) . Surah 108 Al-Kawthar.
