Assalam o Aleikum
I wanted to ask you, if the father of a woman can deny her nikkah becaus he doesnt agree with the nationality of the man. The woman and man want the nikkah and they fit together perfectly.
I also want to know if there are any alternatives, if the father doesnt allow the daughter to marry because of unislamic reasons.

Difference in nationality is not a valid reason for a father to deny a nikah of his daughter with a Muslim from different nationality, race or other social status. Mutual understating, respect and cooperation is needed
