I was confused about whether I need to perform ghusl-e-janabat. I had sexual thoughts and touched my private part for about five minutes, but then I stopped. I felt a little relaxed afterward, but I did not continue. I am not sure whether any liquid came out, and I did not clearly see any discharge. I realized that this act is a sin. Do I need to perform ghusl-e-janabat?

If there is no discharge, ghusl-e-janabat is not obligatory. However, as a precaution, it is better to perform ghusl-e-janabat.
