أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

We hope this answer reaches you in good health and Islamic spirit.

Based on your specific question and information provided.

You ( The Mukallaf ) can inform the people that you follow Islamic dietary guidelines and can only eat Halal.

You as a Mukallaf ( The legally Obligated / Responsible person for the final decision  / action ) needs to determine if the general opinion of the Jurist is applicable in your specific situation. If the Jurists opinion is Mubah, it is an option available to you in case of a need and it is at your discretion (you can choose do Ihtiyat ( to take Precaution)).

From the Islamic Fiqh / Jurisprudence perspective ( the Opinion of the Jurist), if you are not sure that the wetness of the impure person’s hand has  touched your food (Halal food). It is Mubah ( Optional ).

اَللّٰهُ أَعْلَم‎
(Allah(awj) Knows best)
