Martyrdom of al-Sayyed Abdul Majid al-Khoei
in Iraq (Back

 The
Imam Al Khoei Foundation and the Muslim nation worldwide are shocked and
saddened by the news of the assassination of Al Seiyyed Abdul Majid Al
Khoei, Secretary general of Al-Khoei Foundation and son of the Supreme
Jurisprudent , the late Ayatullah Al Sayyed Abol Qasim Al Khoei. Al Saiyyed
Abdul Majid was performing prayer at the shrine of Imam Ali A.S in the city
of Al Najaf when he was attacked by the remnants of Saddam Hussein's regime.
The martyr was well known worldwide for promoting Islamic unity and dialogue
with other religions. We extend our condolences to his family and to the
Muslim Ummah at large, and we commit ourselves to pursue the noble
objectives, he laid his life for.
