 Vision & Rationale
Vision:
Through establishment of a definitive road map and inspirational role models in various
fields, the social and economic status of the Shi’a community will be uplifted to
a level of excellence.
Rationale:
The need for empowerment of community is becoming more important than ever, especially
in the modern world where Muslims are being painted in very unfavorable colors.
Prophet Mohammad SAWW emphasized on individual empowerment in the very early days
of Islam and took trading as a business, even married a business-woman Bibi Khadija
SA. Therefore, not only it is an imperative need but also a tradition of our beloved
Prophet.
Fortunately there are a good number of people who have taken up this tradition of
our Prophet and achieved excellence in respective fields. Unfortunate part, however,
is that the wisdom of these people has largely been unutilized.
Al-Iman Center for Excellence strives to root out this very imbalance by bridging
the gap between these people and the community. By forming a think tank of successful
individuals we will come up with a definitive road map to achieving excellence - the
ultimate vision.
To empower a community some fundamental objectives need to be accomplished. These
objectives may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Instilling a sense of entrepreneurship
through creation of inspirational role models whom community members can lookup to.

Promoting mentorship by enabling one-on-one
access to successful members of community for determined individuals.

Promote networking and encourage intra
community business relationships.

Following the spirit of Rabbi Zidni Ilman
by promoting excellence in education, academia and various professions, while at the
same time maintaining an Islamic Identity.
