Salaam, but what about for people who follow the ruling of Sayyid al-Khoe’i (and others who hold this view)? Isn’t it still too early to say that it definitely hasn’t been sighted?

I noticed that there were many crescent observations in South America (from Chile, Peru, Argentina) by many Muslims (Shias and Sunnies) on Sunday night which should give us reassurance that the first day of Ramadan is on Monday. Please let me know your thoughts as the number of observant were so many and from such a diverse cultures/streams which no one should ignore.
